§ 385.417 Availability of motor carrier's safety permit number.

Upon request, a motor carrier must provide the number of its safety permit to a person who offers a hazardous material listed in § 385.403 for transportation in commerce. A motor carrier's permit number will also will be available to the public on the FMCSA Safety and Fitness Electronic Records System website at httphttps://wwwsafer.safersysfmcsa.orgdot.gov.
