§ 375.517 May an individual shipper demand re-weighing?

Current wording, first on file in the 2003 annual edition.

govinfo, 2009 edition ↗
Before Jan. 1, 2017 the record is one snapshot per annual CFR edition, revised as of October 1. This is the 2009 edition's wording. An amendment that took effect between Oct. 1, 2009 and Oct. 1, 2009 would not appear until the next edition, so check the citations below and the Federal Register for exact effective dates.

After you inform the individual shipper of the billing weight and total charges and before actually beginning to unload a shipment weighed at origin (first method under § 375.509(a)(1)), the individual shipper may demand a re-weigh. You must base your freight bill charges upon the re-weigh weight.
